Job Title: Security Guard

Reports To: Security Manager

Location: X Lazy B Ranch

Employment Type: Full Time

Pay: $20-$23/hr (DOE)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and observant Security Guard to provide safety and protection services for our ranch. The ideal candidate will safeguard personnel, livestock, equipment, and property by patrolling, monitoring surveillance systems and enforcing access control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor access points and ensure only authorized personnel enter the site

• Ensure gates, buildings, and facilities are secured

• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, providing immediate action as required

• Conduct regular security patrols of the premises

• Investigate security breaches or other incidents and prepare detailed reports

• Maintain a log of security checks and incident reports

Qualifications:

• Experience in security

• Knowledge of security procedures, emergency response, and law enforcement practices

• Ability to perform in high-pressure situations

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proficient in the use of security technology and equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods

• Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations

• Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., outdoors, inclement weather)
